Report on Judging
The Federation of Indian Photography has wonderfully conducted 4th FIP Grand
International Circuit 2017. The Judging was held at Hotel Avenue Club, Kolkata on 25th,
26th and 27th Oct 2017. It was an amazing experience being there in the Judging Panel.
There were 13 judges in total who had contributed with time and effort to make it
successful. The selection of the images was done by all the Judges without interference or
influence by the organizing committee. The digital files were arranged into computer
generated random sequence from each category very meticulously by web master Mrinal
Bandhopadhya. The prints were viewed in a brightly lit room. One thing I really appreciate
that the level of harmony between the judges was wonderful. We have really enjoyed 3
days looking at several stunning images.
The whole program was conducted dot in time and with absolute precision under the
watchful eyes of the organizers. The arrangements for judging and accommodation were
very pleasing and comfortable.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Circuit Chairman, Mr. B K Sinha and
Secretary, Mr. Sayan Sarkar for their efforts behind the diligently organized event.
